Adoption Services Manager
Duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing applications, filing paperwork, screening potential adopters, observing interactions between pets and potential adopters, educating owners about proper pet care, and processing adoption fees.
Adoption Event Coordinator
Plan all adoption events, negotiate with vendors, manage all event operations including preparing venue, on-site set up, ensuring the best experience for participants, on-site breakdown and clean up, and seamless return of animals to the shelter. Oversee every aspect of onsite event and act quickly to resolve problems.
Bookkeeper Assistant
Helps maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. GoDaddy Bookkeeping experience is a plus.
Community Outreach Manager
Responsible for overseeing all community programs, including the program’s presence within the focus community, organizing and scheduling all community activities, providing a good first impression, and working collaboratively with clients to find the best possible solutions for the people in the community and their pet(s).
Fundraising & Special Events Manager
Managing fundraising campaigns, online activities, and programs to bring in funds for general or specialized operations. The organization’s point person for finding other programs to generate funds.
Foster Manager
Oversight and management of foster programs, assuring proper sanitary, efficient, and humane care of the animals while in foster care.
Supervision of foster volunteers along with being available 24/7 to answer questions and be there for the fosters who are the ones who make all this possible.
Grant Writer
Responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to research, identify, prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation and corporate sources in the areas of animal rescue.
Graphic Designer
Use your creative skillset to produce high quality, impactful work that effectively communicates and furthers our mission with volunteers, donors, and a mainstream audience. Duties can include printed materials, creating digital materials, and setting up files for professional printing or online platforms.
Marketing Manager
Help generate revenue for RWAR by executing a marketing plan, including digital marketing, social media, promotions, public relations and collateral design. This leader will manage the execution of communications to key audiences including guests, veterinary hospitals, shelters, and related partners while maintaining relationships with key vendors and being an ambassador for the facility with regard to media requests.
Medical Manager
Lead the team to support all of RWAR’s veterinarian care. Including but not limited to scheduling all vet appointments, such as spay/neuter and emergency visits. Ensure all animals are up to date on all vaccinations and are completely up to date prior to adoption. Track and maintain all records on rescue software along with making sure all adopters receive their animals vet records after adoption is complete.

Online Merchandise
Store Manager
The online store manager’s responsibility is to make sure that all the items being sold are up-to-date, have the correct sizes, prices, and the like. This person will also be responsible for listing items, writing item descriptions, and taking and uploading product pictures. Responsible for all shipping of items, if required.
Thrift Store Manager
Manage RWAR’s local Facebook marketplace account, take photos of merchandise, upload photos with accurate descriptions and prices, keep records, handle local shipping or pickup, remove photos of sold items, and report earnings to the Executive Director.
TNR Manager
Facilitate the development, training, and implementation of a strong and organized volunteer force to execute successful trap-neuter-return (TNR) practices amongst free roaming felines in our area. Develop and facilitate a variety of community outreach programs, feral cat trapping, and other field work. Must have the ability to work in conjunction with other partner organizations with the same goal.
Photographer
Provide high quality photos of rescue animals, staff, volunteers, visitors, and RWAR events for the website, newsletters, social media, and print collateral. Provide photos as needed on special projects around the rescue such as special events, fundraisers, adoption events, etc. Edit photos as necessary (re-sizing, adding captions, etc.)

Social Media Manager
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.
Transportation
Manager
Overseeing the general health, wellness, and organization of the dogs and cats during transport, and communicating with partner shelters about pick up/drop off of transport animals. Selecting and submitting transport animals, communicating effectively with partner shelters, training and overseeing transport volunteers, maintaining organized and clear data and files, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in all transport areas.

Trainer
Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all programs intended to identify, correct, and prevent problem behavior in rescue animals.This includes conducting and overseeing training classes, animal behavior help requests, rescue behavior enrichment programs, evaluations for rescue animals, and conducting private counseling for community pet owners. This position is responsible for the supervision, scheduling, training, development, and counseling of the training programs.
Videographer
Collect footage of shelter animals and street animals undergoing treatment at the shelter for website, newsletters, local and international press, and other channels as the need arises. Produce high quality videos (footage and music) for the above in conjunction with other team members, upload and provide links to videos for use by other team members.
Volunteer Coordinator
The Volunteer Coordinator's responsibilities include recruiting and training new volunteers, keeping a database of volunteer information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, keeping volunteers informed, and conveying the organization's purpose to the public.
